At Chardome, we specialise in creating bespoke, fitted boot room furniture that combines style with functionality. Our expert team crafts each piece to fit your specific needs, ensuring a perfect blend with your home aesthetics. From spacious storage units to elegant seating solutions, our bespoke boot room designs are tailored to enhance the utility and beauty of your space.
Your boot room is more than just a space to store outdoor wear; it's the first point of contact with your home. Our design process focuses on creating a welcoming, organised, and stylish area that meets all our storage needs.
Here's how we approach the design:
Our primary focus is on understanding your boot room's intended purpose and functionality. This involves a detailed assessment of the types of items you need to store, such as shoes, coats, umbrellas and other outdoor gear.
We consider the daily usage of the space, whether it's for a quick grab - and - go or a more leisurely transition from outdoors to indoors.
Our team evaluates the layout and dimensions of your space, identifying opportunities to utilise every inch effectively.
This might involve custom - built floor to ceiling storage, cleverly designed corner units, or slimline cabinets that offer storage without impeding the flow of the room.
Our design philosophy is to elegantly combine form and function, aligning seamlessly with your home's overall theme. This includes selecting colour schemes, textures, and finishes that complement the existing decor of your home.
Our design team works closely with you to create a space that feels like a natural extension of your home, ensuring that the boot room is both beautiful and practical.
We'll work with you on colours that complement the room's existing palette. Neutral tones might blend well, while contrasting colours can make the unit a focal point.
Consider the finish as well - spray-finished, hand painted or stain veneers can drastically change the look.
We believe in using only premium materials that ensure the longevity and durability of your boot room furniture.
We select materials that are not only robust and able to withstand daily use but also complement the overall design aesthetic - from solid woods to high-grade metals and finishes.
In every design, we prioritise ergonomics to ensure that the space is comfortable and user-friendly.
This involves considering the height and depth or storage units for easy access, designing seating that is both comfortable and functional, and ensuring that the layout allows for natural movement within the space.
First. we'll talk through your bespoke boot room ideas - from styles to colours - to capture what you want.
If required, we can come and visit the space, measure up and discuss your ideas.
Next, we'll capture your brief: exactly what style, design style and particular items you want.
The design team will turn your brief into a set of 3D designs using CAD software to bring your fitted boot room brief to life.
When you're happy with the designs, our joinery and furniture workshop will build every last aspect of your new boot room, here at our home in Cambridge.
Once built, the various elements will be brought to your home and fitted. Our team works efficiently, removes all waste and leaves nothing but a beautiful boot room behind them.
We’re a small team so you will work with the same people from start to finish including our designers and cabinetmakers.
